Thematic Units

We incorporate innovative Thematic Units throughout the curriculum to instill the themes in all facets of the learning process resulting in a dynamic learning environment. Some examples of Thematic Units are space, machines, insects, and the rainforest. These units are created to make connections cognitively, emotionally, physically, and socially with our students. The value of thematic units is seen through applying these themes to real-life situations and introducing new skills. Lesson plans and sometimes classroom decor will reflect the current theme.
